2013 Fermentation Workshop

I am pleased to announce that the CSA will be hosting a Fermentation workshop with chef Michaela Hayes.  Come learn the magical process of fermentation!  Everyone will take home recipes and a jar of Fermented goodness!

Why Fermentation?
In addition to preserving the existing nutrients and enzymes in food, Fermentation also creates probiotics, B vitamins, and enzymes which aid digestion and immune function.  Incredible!  Fermented foods are delicious, inexpensive and easy to make at home, and do no require any special equipment.   Learn how to bring more probiotic-rich fermented foods into your life.
