Indian Cooking Class Review

Indian Cooking Workshop Review by Vicki

I attended the Indian cooking class that our neighbor, Mukti Banerjee graciously offered to a few of us lucky CSA members this past Saturday. She used exactly what we got in our shares that day and I'll be darned if somehow I managed to make a pretty decent Indian meal when I got home, thanks to her step by step instruction. It's so much easier than you'd ever imagine, and so much fun too. I didn't have all of the spices on hand that she had, but still, my meal was delicious and I was so excited.

If you are curious about how to combine spices to create the tastes of India, not to mention picking up a zillion handy cooking tips in general, I urge you to take a class with Mukti. Or even schedule a group class with friends to celebrate a birthday or special occasion. You will not regret it!

Mukti teaches authentic Indian cooking classes of all kinds and from all different regions, and she uses high quality ingredients. Her teaching manner is calm and engaging and you will enjoy her as much as you enjoy the cooking. And you can take a lesson either in her kitchen or she'll come to yours (with her amazing collection of spices in hand!) Mukti's contact information is below if you would like to inquire about her fall class schedule, or to gather a group of friends and schedule a group class with her.
