Share List and Farm News

Note from a member who asked us to post this to the blog:

Longtime member here to say THANKS much to Melissa Goldman, who invested much time and effort in reworking the October 4 (Yom Kippur) CSA delivery for those of us who have other obligations on the date. It's never easy to coordinate logistics -- especially with an 'organism' with so many moving, human parts -- and I'd like to express my appreciation and gratitude for creative solutions to occasional 'problems.' Really grateful to be a part of this CSA community, and for our esteemed core group, who work so hard on our behalf -- thank you again, and brava, Melissa, your work is very much appreciated.

Newsletter for this A-week (cheese week, no meat)

FARM NEWS: Our Garlic Festival is this Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm. Of course admission is free for CSA members – as always! Tomatoes are starting to wind down and sweet corn, sadly, is done.

Fall crops are coming in. We are proud to be giving you some really nice broccoli. Without any rain over the past month, our sweet potatoes are on the small side this year. But lots of winter squash was harvested.
